Have you taken previous educational courses or exams? Do you have past training or career experience? If so, you may have already begun your journey toward earning a certificate or associate's degree from TESST College of Technology. We will consider accepting credit from accredited postsecondary institutions, various certification exams, and military training and experience.
Upon evaluation of your transcript, credit may be awarded for courses successfully completed with a grade of "C" or better at another accredited postsecondary institution where course and credit values are comparable to those offered by TESST College of Technology.
Transcripts from foreign institutions must meet the same requirements as domestic institutions and must be translated. The College does not guarantee the transferability of credit from any of these sources.
Transfer of Credit Between Kaplan Higher Education Institutions
Course credit may be transferred from any Kaplan Higher Education institution upon a student's acceptance to the receiving Kaplan Higher Education institution. The transfer-of-credit award will be based on:
- Courses that have a grade of "C" or better
- Course descriptions, objectives, or outcomes
- Core/major courses that apply to the program
- Conversions from quarter to semester credit systems, or vice versa, that follow common practices for academic credit conversions
Credit cannot be transferred until an official transcript is submitted to the Kaplan Higher Education institution evaluating the transfer credit.
Students transferring from any Kaplan Higher Education institution must complete a minimum of 25 percent of the course credit at the Kaplan Higher Education institution awarding the graduation credential.
